I.O.O.F. (Independent Order of Odd Fellows), better known as Odd Fellows:   the organization met in a room on the third floor of a building located at the corner of Seventh and Main.
In the early 1900's, there were many fraternal organizations, sometimes referred to as lodges; according to our research, none of the other lodges in Brookville (Masons, Red Men and Knights of Pythius) had cornet bands.
